Giovanni is a composer based in London originally from Udine, Italy. Starting as a violin player, his music has been shaped by his love for the orchestra as well as a growing passion for electronic music.

His works range from small ensemble to orchestra, where most of them are characterised by a close collaboration with performers in order create new and exciting blends of acoustic instruments and electronic textures. Example of these are “From Friul” for large ensemble and theremin and "Glimpses" for string quartet.

Giovanni has developed a strong interest in storytelling and film-scoring. He recently composed the score for the short 'The god of cats is immortal'. His music can also be heard in “The last crossroad”, selected in more than ten festival across Europe, "Sotto le stelle fredde", and "Memory | Fashion Film".

He has been commissioned also for an increasing number of jingles and music for advertising by brands such as Samsung, Ducati, Lamborghini and Helbiz. In 2022 his work for Samsung 'A short film directed by Millie Bobby Brown' was awarded for best original composition at the Young British Arrows award.

Giovanni studied composition at “Giuseppe Verdi” conservatory and “Scuola Civica Claudio Abbado” in Milan. In 2021 he finished a Master’s degree in composition at Trinity Laban in London where he studied with John Ashton Thomas.
